UPDATE: Kat Dennings Joins Thor
Natalie Portman revealed to MTV this weekend that Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist) will have a role in director Kenneth Branagh's Thor. She didn't reveal what role Dennings will be playing, however.
Dennings is joining a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan Skarsgard, Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano and Idris Elba. The Marvel Studios adaptation will be released in theaters by Paramount Pictures on May 20, 2011.

Also a completly different type role for her because she has been in nothing but comedies so far. Should be interesting to see her in something different like Thor, which already has such an amazing cast and I think seriously needs an amazing cast because out of the comic based movies, Thor has the potential to be the least interesting I think and the one that could struggle the most at the box office so a great cast really helps big time!
Can't imagine she'd be the Norn Queen, Karnilla.
