Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released the trailer for the home video release Universal Soldier: Regeneration, starring Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski, Dolph Lundgren, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Zahary Baharov. You can watch the trailer using the player below! Directed by John Hyams, the action film hits Blu-ray and DVD on February 2. The following is how the studio described the R-rated film:

With stolen top-secret technology, terrorists have created a next-generation Universal Soldier - an elite fighter genetically altered into a programmable killing machine. With this "UniSol" (Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei "The Pit Bull" Arlovski) leading the way, they seize the crippled Chernobyl nuclear reactor, threatening to unleash a lethal radioactive cloud. The only one who can stop them is Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), a UniSol who's been decommissioned for years. Reactivated and retrained, Deveraux must make a full-out assault on the heavily armed fortress. But inside, he'll discover not one but two of these virtually indestructible warriors. Andrew Scott (Dolph Lundgren), Deveraux's vicious UniSol enemy from the original Universal Soldier, has been secretly reanimated and upgraded. Now, these elite fighters are locked, loaded and programmed to kill; and the fate of millions hinges on this high-action showdown.

Well, I guess Andrei needs a new job, considering he can't win anymore fights.

For what it's supposed to be - a total mindless action orgy - it doesn't look that bad. I don't know that I would pay money, but I'll add it to Netflix. Plus, Dolph Lundgren is awesome (reconfirmed this week when I watched Rocky IV again).

OneTwo: I would fight a pitbull, but not Andrei. I'm not stupid. See, I don't train in MMA, yet he was an ex-hvywght champ. I'm on an internet site, I'm allowed to talk ****. Can't I? Yeah, I thought so. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings, though.

On another note: Dolph Lundgren should get more work!!!

As much as I am laughing at this movie, I'm gonna see it. Anybody ever see the straight-to-dvd one?

Trailer could be better - but it's not that bad either. The movie looked better as it went along - mainly because it showed more of van damme & lundgren's characters.

i train in MMA and still would not fight Arlofski. Not like I'd be able to being in a different weight class.

I am also an MMA fighter and have fought off 3 pitbulls before but I would never take on Arlofski.
