20 Minutes of Legion Seen

ComingSoon.net's horror arm ShockTillYouDrop.com got a chance to watch 20 minutes of footage from Screen Gems' Legion, directed by Scott Stewart and starring Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton, Lucas Black, Kate Walsh, Doug Jones, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand and Willa Holland.

In the supernatural action thriller, opening January 22, an out-of-the-way diner becomes the unlikely battleground for the survival of the human race. When God loses faith in Mankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity's only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner and the Archangel Michael (Bettany).

this has the dumbest concept! Why the hell would angels crawl on the wall and grow nasty long limbs? That seems like demon @#$% to me! And why is that women giving birth to Jesus if God wants to destroy the world?
Well, at least they dont have to worry about Christians coming after them like 2012 did w/ there NOT destroying of Mecca.
Sheesh.

The real sad thing is that this movie is based on the Judeo-Christian faith, and basically gets every important principle of those faiths completely wrong. I know it's just a movie, but it bugs me to know that people who have no idea will be led further off track by this movie. If you're going to make a movie about God and angels, maybe next time READ the Bible instead of just skim through the parts that serve your purpose.
