Sam Neill Joins Snyder's Guardians of Ga'hoole

Sam Neill has joined the voice cast of Zack Snyder's Guardians of Ga'hoole, an animated feature film based on the series of children's books by Kathryn Lasky.

The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father's epic stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones.

It appears Neill has replaced the previously-announced Hugh Jackman in the film, which is also voiced by Geoffrey Rush, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham, Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Jay Laga'aia, Miriam Margolyes, Helen Mirren and Jim Sturgess.

can't wait.
zack snyder is theeee upcoming director for adaptations wether they are graphic novels or literature.

Watchmen is not making back its money. This project sounds weird and his Suckerpunch about a girl trapped in an asylum is dumb too

Snyder's only good film is 300.

Snyder's only good film is 300... NOT!
I thought it was pretty boring... Watchmen was amazing!!! It's the best, most faithful adaptation of any graphic novel or book ever!

Zack has done exceptionally well in all his endeavors. I even thought his Dawn of the Dead remake was an improvement on a master work. I'm definitely interested in his latest here.
