Second Avatar Featurette and New Clip

A second featurette on James Cameron's Avatar is now online and can be watched in Windows Media Player format here. Meanwhile, the first clip has also been posted here in QuickTime.

Opening December 18 in conventional 3D theaters and IMAX 3D, the action-adventure stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang and Matt Gerald.

It's funny, the more I watch these featurettes, the more I get over my preconceived notions of what it should be and I'm liking it more and more. The fact that I've been looking forward to this movie for so long was working against me...

Yo dude. I love James Cameron. I think this movie is going to be really great. I'm liking the CGI and of course I think the story so far is epic. Might even be the Star Wars of our generation. Definitely looks better than The Dark Knight. Can't wait!

Sorry if I sound like a geek...but in Clip 1, doesn't anybody else notice that the sound of that monster at the end of the clip is a direct ripoff of the T. Rex from Jurassic Park? I mean it's the EXACT same sound!!!

This looks really exciting. Dunno if I'll fight the opening-day crowds, but the 3-D will be worth it.

or its just a lame overdubb by a company so the clip would be more effective
