Alexander is Doing Stunt Training for Thor

SuperHeroHype is reporting that Jaimie Alexander ("Kyle XY") has been tweeting about her training for the role of Sif in director Kenneth Branagh's comic book adaptation Thor, which starts filming in January. She will star with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson and Stellan Skarsgard in the Marvel Studios film, scheduled to hit theaters on May 20, 2011.

Since Gyllenhal is the Prince of Persia, why not cast Will Smith as Thor?? Can't wait to hear the silly ass justifications. Bring 'em on.
