Writer Boards Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

The Hollywood Reporter says that Dante Harper (David Fincher's upcoming Black Hole) has been hired to write the script for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, to be directed by Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow) for Gary Sanchez Productions and Paramount.

The film picks up the fairy-tale siblings 15 years after their traumatic gingerbread house incident, which provoked them to become witch bounty hunters.

Sanchez executives Kevin Messick, Adam McKay, Will Ferrell and Chris Henchy are producing the horror-action comedy.

Awesome. Hope it doesn't end up being like "The Brotbers Grimm". I mean I liked it, but it could've been done better.

Sounds like it could be hilarious, but it'll probably get a terrible budget and no talent.
