Faris, Aykroyd and Timberlake Board Yogi Bear

November 6, 2009

Anna Faris, Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake are in talks to star in Yogi Bear, Warner Bros.' big screen adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

The film is being directed by Eric Brevig and produced by Donald De Line and Karen Rosenfelt as a live-action/CG hybrid.

Faris will play a nature documentarian who follows the antics of a bear in fictional Jellystone Park. Aykroyd will voice Yogi, and Timberlake may voice Yogi's companion, Boo Boo.

The studio hopes to get Yogi Bear under way in New Zealand in December. Brad Copeland penned the current script with Joshua Sternin and Jeff Ventimilia writing the original draft.

I can do the voice-overs for Yogi bear and Boo Boo. Yes, truly I can. My Boo Boo almost sounds even like Spongebob. I can also do Patrick Star. I'm still working on my Mr. Krabs. I am very versatile and can do a lot of voice-overs. Unfortunately, since I don't have an agent or manager yet, it's immpossible to say I'll have a shot at this title. If you guys heard my Yogi and Boo Boo voices you'd drop jaws.

Yogi's voice is one of his signature traits - Dan Aykroyd's is not even close.

I could see Justin Timberlake as BooBoo but I would only see Akroyd as Ranger

I hate when people come on here and try to promote themselves as "talent". As if the studio execs are gonna read this and say "huh. Lets hear what this Cory Morr sounds like" and then offer him a HUGE movie deal. What a stupid loser. Hope all goes well for ya dick!!

If this movie is big, maybe Warner Bros. will finally accept my pitch of a live action/CGI Tom & Jerry movie. Owen Wilson is Tom and Ben Stiller is Jerry and Queen Latifa is Mammy or maybe Jennifer Hudson. Whoever has the fattest legs.
What I'd REALLY like to see is a live action/CGI EEK THE CAT, written by myself and Joe Hill. It would be a very surreal, psychedelic, violent, mind trip and funny as hell. Jason Lee will voice Eek the Cat, if he's not interested I'd like to get Iggy Pop.
