ComingSoon.net is attending the American Film Market (AFM) and we spotted this sales art for the video game adaptation Tekken. Directed by Dwight Little, the film stars Luke Goss, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Tamlyn Tomita, Gary Daniels, Chiaki Kuriyama, Cung Le, Jon Foo, Kelly Overton, Ian Anthony Dale, Lateef Crowder, Darrin Dewitt Henson, John Pyper-Ferguson, Mircea Monroe, Gary Ray Stearns, Candice Hillebrand and David Pitt.

Based on the Namco property, the movie plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future. It centers on a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people.

critics will say its bad due to the fact that their are just too many characters.

I hope the movie is a combination of Mortal Kombat and Dead or Alive (I know the second wasnt great but it put in aspects of the game well. The energy bars and the vollyball part)

Looks good except for the two chicks in the "Let's wear costumes and try to look hot" pose.

Have movie studios learnt NOTHING from Video Game flicks? Do we have to bring out the AVGN or the Nostalgia Critic to remind them??!!!

"God Help Us"-
Think about it. The only video game that has a chance of becoming a well written story is "Zelda".

well at least the artwork looks better than anything "Street Fighter the legend of Chun Li" gave during its promotion :)

It could at least be a nice and fun flick :)
