An international trailer for Disney's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is now also online and can be watched using the player below. Opening in theaters on May 28, the Mike Newell-directed video game adaptation stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell. In the fantasy-action-adventure, a rogue prince (Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Yawn. This is the "Let's try to recover this guy's career after all the flops he's made, starting with the queer cowboy movie" movie. You can't tell me he "can't keep his eyes off" that chick. He's looking at the dude behind her.

I've never played the games, but this should be fun anyway. I'm gonna trust good 'ol Jerry on this one.

@Beatdown
Respect for Gyllenhaal for doing something you would never have the guts to.

Anyways, on to the trailer, I like the intro of this trailer a lot better, but it feels out of touch during the rest of it. The other one had better dialogue, in that it connected better.

It looks like good fun , the kind of film where you leave your brain at the entrance.
