Sherlock Holmes Facebook Game Kicks-Off

ComingSoon.net received the following dispatch for this morning that will lead you to a Facebook game called "221b" for the Sherlock Holmes movie. The following is how the game, which leads up to the beginning of the movie (much like how The Dark Knight viral game did), is described and you can click the "telegraphic despatch" to check it out:

221b is a two-player game immersing you into the world of Sherlock Holmes and Dr.John Watson. Launching on October 28th 2009, 221b takes you through the events leading up to the very first scene of the new Sherlock Holmes film.

You can play with a friend, one as Holmes, one as Watson, or you can even play alone if you like, taking on the role of both characters. Just as in the stories, you and your friend will investigate crimes, sift through evidence and solve mysteries. You'll also have to stake your reputation as detectives on your deductions. Get them right and you'll soon be the envy of Scotland Yard.

Awesome, I'm in, this should be fun. It looks a lot more straight forward than the Dark Knight one though... Not sure I'm ok with that. I don't want them to just hand the clues over, half the fun is doing the grunt work looking for it.

I don't think it will be straight forward but it won't be as chaotic as TDK game was… then again that one had to be considering the character involved.
Does anyone know if 42 Entertainment is handling this one as well?
