October 26, 2009

ShockTillYouDrop.com reports that Charles de Lauzirika, who has worked on DVDs such as "The Alien Quadrilogy," "Blade Runner: The Final Cut," "Twin Peaks: Definitive Gold Box Edition" and "Kingdom of Heaven: The Director's Cut," will make his directorial debut on a psychological thriller titled Crave.

Josh Lawson, Emma Lung and Ron Perlman lead the cast of the film which centers on a downtrodden photographer (Lawson) who is haunted by the urban violence and decay around him causing him to retreat into an inner world of dark fantasies.

When his intoxicating new romance with a beautiful young woman (Lung) goes sour, those dangerous visions explode into reality with deadly consequences. Perlman will play the role of a veteran detective named Pete.

This so far sounds like a wais of celluloid. It sounds too much like theneighbor across the hall looking out hi swindow wishing he had the money or guts to get away from it all. Why would I want to see this Max Payne part 2 without the police overtones?
