New Sherlock Holmes Poster Debuts

Warner Bros. Pictures has provided us with the new poster for director Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, opening Christmas Day and starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan and Kelly Reilly.

Sherlock Holmes sends Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson on their latest challenge. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, Holmes will battle as never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

Something wrong with Downey's head. Bummer. I would have bought it otherwise. I wish I could find the teaser poster with him in sunglasses smoking his pipe.

Great looking poster but yet another pun-laden, lame tagline! Might as well be "Holmes is where the heart is" or "Holmes Sweet Holmes"...Oh, yous Hollywood! *shakes fist*
