Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson filmed action scenes for director Adam McKay's The Other Guys in Manhattan and Splash News has posted 12 photos of the guys on the set.

Columbia Pictures' The Other Guys follows Detective Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell), a forensic accountant who's more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg), who has been stuck with Allen as his partner ever since an embarrassing public incident with his quick trigger finger. Allen and Terry idolize the city's top cops, Danson and Manzetti (Johnson and Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the Other Guys to step up, things don't quite go as planned.

Btw when is this coming out? If it's around the same time as A Couple Of Dicks I might be torn - Kevin Smith vs The Rock?? Argh! The torment!

Kevin Smith's buddy cop movie will be much edgier. That comes out in April I think, while this I'm sure comes out in August.

Man, that is one cool pic. I wish that after this movie, The Rock and Sam Jackson's characters would spin-off into a more serious 'Die Hard'-type franchise. They look like an awesome action team!
