Hathaway, Harris and Santoro Voicing Rio

Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris and Rodrigo Santoro are set to voice director Carlos Saldanha's Rio at Blue Sky Studios and Fox Animation. Saldanha directed the $882 million global hit Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs for the two companies.

The 3-D digital animated Rio centers on a nerdy macaw who leaves the comforts of his cage in small-town Minnesota and heads to Rio de Janeiro.

Chris Jenkins (Surf's Up) and Bruce Anderson (Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!) are producing. The film is scheduled for an April 8, 2011 release.

Hope it's good. I didn't really think that Ice Age 3 was as good as the first two, but hey, everyone deserves a second chance.
