Exclusive: Walton Goggins Fighting Predators?

Things have quietly been moving forward on Robert Rodriguez's Predators with Nimrod Antal directing. Although 20th Century Fox has already set a release date for July 7, 2010, there hasn't been much casting news except for the ubiquitous Danny Trejo as someone named "Cuchillo." That is, until now.

ComingSoon.net has heard word that one of Rodriguez's cast will be none other than Walton Goggins, star of the FX series "The Shield."

Unfortunately, we do not have any information yet on which role he might be playing, but we'll update the story as we receive confirmation. Either way, we can probably except there to be a lot more cast announced for the anticipated reboot in the coming weeks.

If you're a fan of "The Shield"--and seriously, who isn't?--let us know how you feel about Detective Shane Vendrell trading the L.A. drugdealers for a bunch of killer Predators.

Great actor, good choice, cant wait to see who else they cast. Wonder if the rumour of Michael Jai White being cast are true? hope so

The Shield is one of the greatest shows of all time. He rules. This movie just stepped it up, bigtime.

I CAME!
He's one of the best actors alive today.
You need to watch the Shield to understand what I'm talking about, his performance as Shane Vendrell has been fantastic since day one to the very end of that amazing show.
Now if only they could cast James Franco and Jared Padalecki in this Predators movie. That would be perfect.

i don't know nothing about this guy but my guess is he will be the fbi most wanted or the cop who is in the opening scene... i hope they get some bigger celebs but the budget is jim carrys salery...so ... mike white was spawn i think hes super black predator.he has the build they can fake his height cant cgi 7black belts... im dyeing to know the full cast..
