2nd Full Shutter Island Trailer Hits!

Paramount Pictures has released a second full trailer for the Martin Scorsese-directed psychological thriller Shutter Island, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson and Max von Sydow.

Opening February 19th, Shutter Island is the story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island's fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.

pretty strong trailer once again. And it looks like a genuine thriller with mystery - not just boring mystery only.

Ahh, what would a comments section on Comingsoon.net be without someone insulting someone else. It would be just another website. I must agree with ST. There are BORING mystery films, and then there are good mystery films. I guess maybe I am talking to a much higher intellect than that of my own. Have you seen Hide and Seek? What about "The Black Dahlia"? Those are called BORING mysterys. Just so you know. But then, your name is Un Known, so maybe you just DONT know.....

its a shame this one got pushed back. if it starts on february, this one won't be considered wether at the academy awards 2010 nor the 2011s. i bet this movie will be oscar-stuff

@ unknown, the rant is unnecessary. Mystery is great if it's in an overall quality movie with some significance and intensity. yes, there are boring mysteries out there like MYSTERY MAN said - maybe in your world all mystery films, no matter how lifeless the characters passions and how weakly paced are the plot shifts and revelations, the movie is still good to you. if so, that's great for you - you get to enjoy all the poor mystery movies out there. but many others recognize that mystery can be much better than that.

DiCapro's bad accents are annoying. His accent in Blood Diamond was cringe-worthy as well.

Good trailer. And unlike the other one it doesnt make the twist ending laughably obvious. They never shoud have shown that trailer it gave waaaay too much away.

Damn this looks good! Love Scorsese and DiCaprio. Can't wait to see this. Why oh why did they have to push it back. If anything they should have pushed only as far back as Dec so it would still have a chance to grab some oscars.
