Jamie Foxx Has a Due Date

October 1, 2009

Jamie Foxx is joining Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis and Michelle Monaghan in Due Date, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' upcoming Todd Phillips comedy.

In the film, Downey will play an expectant father who finds himself on a road trip with a mismatched partner (Galifianakis), as he races to get there before his wife (Monaghan) gives birth to his first child.

Foxx will play Downey's longtime pal, who once dated his wife and secretly keeps in touch with her.

"Date" begins shooting this fall in Atlanta, New Mexico and Los Angeles for a November 5, 2010 release date.

Phillips is producing with GreenHat Films partner Daniel Goldberg. Scott Budnick and Susan Downey are exec producing.

His last comedy was "Stealth", that movie was an absolute joke!!! But, seriously his last comedy was "Breakin' All the Rules", which was very average. I like Jamie Foxx, he was great in Collateral and Ray and cool in Miami Vice and The Kingdom. This role seems like is a minor one..... looking forward to it.....
