Shuler Donner Wants X4 and The New Mutants

Source:/Film

/Film talked to "X-Men" franchise producer Lauren Shuler Donner who revealed which other movies she'd like to see happen in addition to X-Men: First Class:

As well as the eventual New Class, then - whenever that might be - Shuler Donner revealed that she has been cooking up plans for several other mutant films. The two she named? An X4, reuniting the X-Men and a big screen outing for The New Mutants. X4, she said, had yet to be pitched to the studio, however.

It will be interesting to see which movie gets going first, with Deadpool, Magneto and Wolverine 2 also in the mix.

I think we should take a break from X-men for now and get Deadpool going so they can clean up the mess from Xmen origins Wolverine. I mean X-Men origins was great until they ruined Deadpool. It was good until that part.

LETS SEE A GAMBIT MOVIE!!! GET TAYLOR TO GET THE ACCENT RIGHT THIS TIME.

Dead.Pool.

I love Xmen and all but seriously... let's do something a lil different first, as well as something to simply make up for the crap they pulled in Wolverine- with that particular character especially.

I really really do not wish to see an XMEN 4. I'm fine with all the prequels they want...but XMEN 3 hurt me and many other Xmen fans. hurt us really bad. Any sequel will only a be an extension of that pain.

How about a live action X-men first class tv series? Kind of like what they did superman with smallville.

Ryan Renolds does deserve to be to super heroes Idioteque. He actually does look like the Green Lantern and he has the muscle for him and Deadpool. Plus hes funny like Deadpool. So I find him doing well for DC and Marvel.

If they can make a great script, and hire a great director like Zack Synder or Len Wiseman then X-Men 4 will do well.

First of all, they didn''t mention anywhere in X3 that they had actually found Scott's body, so he could still be alive. As for Jean, since the ending hinted that Charles was still alive in spirit, Jean could also be too, seeing she was a strong telepath too.

I really hate this woman! BUT I dont care what new X-Movie is made as long as it involves GAMBIT as a main character!! WITH his correct eyes! No, Mrs. Shuler-Donner, the eyes are NOT too distracting for the audience! First Class would be a waste of time, along with Magneto. X4 with GAMBIT would be awesome! Deadpool of course would be a great movie, if done right, Wolverine 2 could be fun and a Gambit spin off would be great as well!

I dont get you Marvel, we the fansm the ones that come and pay for this stuff have been saying we want Gambit since X1, and so you give us a watered down crappy, accentless and correct eye-less version for 10 mins?? Dont pull a Sam Raimi/Venom move. Give us want we want for once! Which is Gambit WITH cajun accent and red/black eyes the whole time!
