20th Century Fox has begun filming The A-Team in British Columbia, Canada and we've got your first peek at the new van being used for the movie. The production was using the van, which looks similar to the one used in the 1983-87 TV series, for chase scenes.

Opening in theaters on June 11, 2010, the big screen adaptation stars Liam Neeson as John "Hannibal" Smith, Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, Sharlto Copley as Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock, and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as Sgt. "B.A." Baracus. The roles were made famous by George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz and Mr. T, respectively, in the original series.

Also starring is Jessica Biel as an Army general pursuing the team, while Entertainment Weekly reports that Watchmen star Patrick Wilson has joined the cast as well as a CIA operative.

Below you can see the new van on the set followed by the van from the series.

Why make the van identical to the original? This movie seems pointless!!!

@ Martica:

Well, shouldn't they make at least one thing that's familiar to the fans? For their sake? It wouldn't be the same if they went with a different look.

@martica

I am glad it's identical to the original. UNLIKE some recent movie ::cough star trek cough::.

There is just no pleasing you fan boys is there? If it was different you'd be *****ing, if it was same you'd be *****ing.
I for one am glad they're keeping it original. If you throw in too many changes then what's the point in calling it the A-Team?
