Warner Home Video has announced that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will hit Blu-ray and DVD on December 8th. While the full specs haven't been announced (we'll update this item with the press release soon), we can tell you that the studio will release the movie as a 3-Disc Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy Combo Pack, a 2-Disc Digital Copy Special Edition and a 1-Disc Edition in both Widescreen and Full Screen. Here are the covers for the latter two.

I like the covers. But I wish they'd alter Ron's head. All other heads look natural except Ron's. And I imagine the 2-disc will also be the 3-disc Blu, unless they're actually giving that a seperate cover.

You have to seperate the book from the movie as long as certain key events take place in both then things are good I am not sure I liked this one as much as Phoeix but I will have to watch it again I can never tell just how good a movie is until I have seen it at least twice

I loved the movie! but some things really posed me off, they didn't explain why Snape was called the half-blood prince and that's what the title is about...but it was a nice ride I'm glad they put the horcrux scene, the most important of all the books

Better than the book. Easily. I love the director, he made OotP so much more interesting than its source material as well.
