X-Men: First Class Shooting in 2010?

September 17, 2009

SuperHeroHype.com reports that Tim Pocock, who played the young Scott Summers/Cyclops in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, has revealed that he will reprise the role in 20th Century Fox's X-Men: First Class.

"Currently shooting Australian TV series till February 2010...then X-men first class," he said on his Twitter account. "Wolverine" producer Lauren Shuler Donner recently hinted that a new "X-Men" movie would start production in 2010.

Written by Josh Schwartz, the film will likely draw from elements of the Marvel Comic of the same name, launched in 2006.

I Agree with jon . Is it really so hard to stick to material that is already made up? Deadpool is already a great character. Little tweaks here and there for movie purposes is cool most of the time but they really went overboard on this one.

I'm more than a little put off that Josh Schwartz of all people is penning the script. This is the guy who produced The O.C. and Gossip Girl. Was he hired just to write snarky dialogue?

1) brett ratner came in and the movie was done and ready to shoot. he didnt make any changes anything. he just directed what was handed to him. story and characters were set before he even stepped foot.

2) Deadpool is fine and alive according to one of the post-credit endings. that guy Wolverine fights wasnt really him.
