Exclusive: The Paranormal Activity Poster!

September 15, 2009

ShockTillYouDrop.com has your exclusive first look at the poster for Paramount Pictures' Paranormal Activity, opening in theaters on September 25th. You can see the poster here!

Written and directed by Oren Peli, the low-budget supernatural thriller stars Katie Featherston, Micah Sloat, Mark Friedrichs, Amber Armstrong and Ashley Palmer.

In the film, a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban "starter" tract house. Soon after, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

The official website is also expected to come online at 9am PT Tuesday morning, and stay tuned @TweetYourScream on Twitter tomorrow for more announcements.

its like a really lame documentary most of which relies on people's natural idiocy, gullibility and a lot of photoshop

Reports from the film festivals where this was shown have said it's actually really scary. I've been looking forward to it for a while.

Saw this at Telluride, and coming from a person who hasn't been scared since I saw The Exorcist at age 7, can tell you that this is one of the most terrifying movies ever made. I've had to block it out of my mind in order to sleep.
