First Look: Photos of Christopher Nolan's Inception Set!

The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan filmed his new movie Inception around the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, a bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris, France. The scenes involve Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page's character, a graduate student studying in Paris, and French actress Marion Cotillard.

Opening in theaters on July 16, 2010, the Warner Bros. contemporary sci-fi actioner is set within the architecture of the mind.

Damn, I work a few blocks away, and even tried to book some vacation days so I could be an extra on the set... Usually big summer movies shot in Paris are easy to sneak in (did it for Munich and Rush Hour 3) but that one was just Avatar-like in terms of secrecy!

Glad you posted a heads up; can't wait for the teaser!

I love how everyone is like, "Wow, this looks really good!" When all it is, is a picture of Leonardo DiCaprio smiling, something you'd see in an US Weekly. Hardly any insight on the visual style Nolan will bring to the table. High hopes though!

I know. They're all basically the same thing. But for someone to say a film looks good based on these photos is absurd. If you didn't read the synopsis of the film you'd have no idea what the film was about based on these photos. That's what I was poking fun at ;)

DREW-It's funny you mention that about Leo (looking like Jack) I was thinking Leo looks like Nolan in some of the pics...maybe it's the hair ha ha.
