Overture Films has released the trailer for the F. Gary Gray-directed psychological thriller Law Abiding Citizen, starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx.

Written by Kurt Wimmer, Law Abiding Citizen is a thriller about a brilliant sociopath who orchestrates a series of high-profile murders that grip the city of Philadelphia - all from inside his jail cell - and the prosecutor assigned to his case who realizes he is the only one who can end the reign of terror.

Looks great and it's cool to finally see Butler as the villan. I'm tired of seeing him in all these corny romantic comedies and this should deffentially bring him back on track. Great cast too.

Yeah, This actually blew me away. I can't wait for it. Gerard is becoming a favorite of mine. RockNRolla was heavily slept on in my opinion, and it was good. Then he goes to a movie like Gamer, and now something like this. (ignoring the love dramedy) I'm liking his flow.

I was an extra for this film for bunch of days, it's seven meets silence of lambs meets Count of Monte Cristo. I'm pretty harsh on the revenge / thiller genre, but this one's clever.

And now that i've seen the trailer on YouTube, here are my thoughts:

Fuggin awesome. I'll be rooting for Butler the whole way through.

There's also a redband trailer for Legion floating around out there on Myspace. That looks outstanding as well.
