Filmmaker Tim Burton pulled double duty at San Diego Comic-Con in late July promoting his own version of Alice in Wonderland that opens next March and the animated film 9, which he co-produced and opens next month. Speaking to the press following the "Alice" presentation in Hall H, Burton revealed what attracted him to the world that Lewis Carroll crafted way back in the 1860s.
For 9, Burton gets producer billing for an original story by newcomer Shane Acker about a post-apocalyptic world where humans are gone and the planet is ravaged by evil machines that have taken over. The last shreds of humanity exist only in nine 'sack-people' created by a human scientist prior to our demise. The movie is based on a short that Acker created and was nominated for an Oscar in 2005. Burton said he was immediately attracted to the curiousness and originality of the story.Latest Headlines:

Really?
I would say Big Fish
absolutely beautiful film,definitely his best
the only film he's made besides Sweeney Todd that's been nominated
for an Oscar
I think you need to check it out because obviously you haven't
Oh and source:In Treatment is an HBO series not Showtime
Top Five
1. Beetlejuice
2. Edward Scissorhands
3. Nightmare Before Christmas
4. Big Fish
5. Sleepy Hollow
Everything else by him is just plain crap. Except for maybe the corpse bride but it was only good because it was kinda like watching a sequel to Nightmare Before Christmas.
Ugh you people disgust me...
