ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! has your first look at a new video in which G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra director Stephen Sommers talks through the exhilarating Accelerator Suit chase sequence across Paris.

Opening August 7th, the action-adventure stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung Hun Lee, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Said Taghmaoui, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid.

In the film, the elite G.I. JOE team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos.

Actually looks better than on the trailers... still hesitant about the whole movie though. And the graphics look totally rushed.

Still doesn't look like the G.I. Joe I grew up with.

And I totally agree with the NYC statement. See that way too much in movies.

Guys don't worry about the accelerator suits they are only in two scenes, plus about Cobra Commander, yes he will appear, but like the title says, "The Rise of Cobra."

How did they filmed it??? It was CGI so no real stunts was needed!

Do we suddenly think that was an actual stunt coordinated scene?! GET REAL!

Gotta admit, watching Marlon Wayans getting nailed by that car was pretty satisfying.

Couldn't have guessed that they filmed the scene using CGI, which looks weak. True, improvements to the shots are made up to the minute of release, but Sommers has bad track record of CGI. Hopefully, he's done more with the movie (like a good story and enticing characters) than rely on CGI, but that's all the previews have shown so I'm doubting it.

I think this looks even worse after seeing that. Didn't think that was possible. The Ninja jumping over the cars and then appearing to push one in their direction while it's in the air...so stupid looking.

but is very true to the character of Snake Eyes. ?, you need to learn about what your trying to diss. granted yes, G.I. Joe would've been better if they had based this off the badass comic book. But it still looks like a heck of a lot of fun.
