Robert Downey Jr. Has a Due Date

Iron Man 2 and Sherlock Holmes star Robert Downey Jr. is joining Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) in Due Date, the comedy that Todd Phillips will direct for Warner Bros. this fall.

Downey will play an expectant father who finds himself on a road trip with a mismatched partner, as he races to get there before the birth of his first child.

Galifianakis plays his road trip mate in a comedy that Phillips calls "a buddy comedy without the buddies."

The script was written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland, and revised by Adam Sztykiel. Shooting will begin in September, in Atlanta, Arizona and Los Angeles.

What's with the Galifianakis crazy all of a sudden? I love that I was a fan of him like 10 years ago when nobody even knew who he was. Now suddenly it's a fad to say you like him. Laaaaame.

People will be talkin s hit about him in about a year, like everybody does now with Seth Rogan or Will Ferrell. Like he was all of a sudden the up And coming rated R comic then G-Force comes out. Due Date sounds pretty much like Hangover.

aright sounds like its gonna b good. it would b cool to see some hangover cameos in the film. like an apatow cameo type of thing

zach is exploding with fame, but does he in visoneers? find out now! no seriously i watched zach on conan and they mentioned this movie visioneers, so i looked on netflix and its instant watch. check it out! it was a little weird and sad but also pretty funny. zach is the main role. also, im looking forward to this. zach is really funny, and downey can be, i hope he's not supposed to be some kind of straight man type here though.

Can someone please tell me how to pronouce "Sztykiel"? But yeah, Galifianakis and Downey have awesomely dissimilar comedic styles; can't wait to see how they match up.
