IGN has debuted the new trailer for the R-rated Warner Bros. thriller Whiteout, starring Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short, Alex O'Loughlin, Shawn Doyle and Tom Skerritt.

Directed by Dominic Sena, the graphic novel adaptation hits theaters on September 11. In the film, Beckinsale plays Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, who is investigating the continent's first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.

It's kinda cool how it starts with that orginal comi-con footage to only work up to the goods. I also didn't expect for their to be so much CGI in this flick not that that's a bad thing, because alot of the shots in the trailer look AMAZING. Also that tease of KB in the shower is SO HOTTTT! LOL!

doesn't look too bad! But the director's career highlight has been SwordFish which could be worse.

Cautiously optimistic on this one. Could be a mix of boredom, CGI and boners for Kate...
