Extended Winged Beast Clip From 9!

Focus Features has revealed another four and a half clip from Shane Acker's 9, hitting theaters on September 9. The animated film, produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov, features the voiced of Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer, John C. Reilly and Crispin Glover.

When 9 (Wood) first comes to life, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world. All humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Despite being the neophyte of the group, 9 convinces the others that hiding will do them no good. They must take the offensive if they are to survive, and they must discover why the machines want to destroy them in the first place. As they'll soon come to learn, the very future of civilization may depend on them.

Mosher, you're over simplifying. Sure there's movies about the apocalypse, but this is a new concept, a new universe. That's like saying Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind isn't original because it's about erasing your mind. (Also this really doesn't look like every other animation Tim Burton does. At all. If I saw this next to Corpse Bride and Nightmare Before Christmas I wouldn't think it was the same style in the least bit.)

Yes, I realize you said it still looks good. Just making a point.

Well Mosher, you should learn to read what Stop Motion Animation is and what CGI is. If you knew anything, you would know that Tim Burton's other stuff was done in Stop Motion Animation. This movie would be his first using CGI. So yes, this is Original. Gets your facts straight, this movie looks to be a Original movie that is going to be epically good!!!
