Yes, this will be dissapointing. I don't like that everyone is dressed in black, the cool part of the show was everyone had their own look and weapons and vehicles. This will be a huge let down for the 30 - 40 year old guys going to relive their child hoods.

The problem with the trailers for GI Joe is that they are all pretty much the SAME. People are tired of them, as they don't bring anything exciting to the film by constantly showing the same clips, the same one-liner's, etc. If Paramount is thinking that they have a huge hot property, think again Die hard GI Joe fans are so turned off by the trailers, that many I have talked to simply have zero interest in seeing it, myself included. I don't want to bash the director but this film looks and feels like his previous works. I have a feeling the film is going to get panned by the critics, and the fans, and tank at the box office.

The only reason I'll see it is for the Stormshadow / Snake Eyes stuff. The rest looks a little disappointing.

Amen Jason. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are BAMFs and their duel should be nostalgic. They are also the ONLY 2 characters that weren't butchered too bad. I still hate that Snake Eyes has a mouth on his costume...what the hell could he possibly have to say???

How can you people determine this sucks from the trailers? While its true some bad to very dissapointing films have had great trailers I can't see how you can deterrmine this film sucks from what are very hi-energy and action packed trailers.

Is it because the movie deviates from the cartoon in some ways? I got news for you, Thats how you do Movies! Often things that work on TV and especially in a cartoon do not work on the big screen so get over yourself and stop whinning!

Maybe, just maybe if you complain enough we can convince the movie studios to stop making movies based on popular tv shows from the past. Perhaps if we had done this earlier we could have prevented the release of Transformers! Oh wait a sec, that movie DID'T SUCK!

Whinners!
