i fell asleep trying to watch the first one, a second one? take your time please and come up with something more gripping and entertaining than that last snooze fest.

Why did you fall asleep, H? Not enough explosions? The movie actually had characters that weren't shallow? Or was it they didn't jam 5 hours of material into 90 minutes?

I loved Superman Returns and thought it was as good as the original Superman movie. It was true to the characters and the story (unlike the piece of garbage known as Star Trek XI) and I enjoyed seeing Clark/Superman struggle with his return. The movie even showed us what it feels like to have the whole world cry out for your help.

I welcome a sequel as long as JJ Abrams stays far away from it.

Superman returns was over all very good. Lois was aweful Routh was very good. Singers story was not bad it was no Usual Suspects. I think some fresh blood would be good get Routh back and use the kevin smith screen play from a few years back if you can find it read it, it was awesome. And most important keep Michael Bay far far far away so he can't taint it like Transformers

Fadeyr...."Fat Drunk and Stupid is no way to go through life son." Superman Returns was an embarrassment to comic book readers and movie goers alike. The story was basically a retelling of the first Superman (Land grad by Lex Luther). I thought Routh was a terrible superman with no emotion as the man of steel. Then he was trying to hard to be like Christopher Reeve

yeay no more crape and yes star trek was not as good as people make it out to be(aka virgin people with no life) Transformers 1 & 2 beat the crap out of these.

Routh is fine as Supes, just get rid of Singer, and bring JJ Abrams on board. He was rumored to do it a few years back. Wish they had got him. Singer just made a beautifully shot movie with great fx for 200 million plus. We got one action sequence with Supes saving the plane in a film that cost over 200 million. Where did all that cash go?
