Crimespree Cinema reports that Jason Statham will play Brant, a sociopathic wrecking machine of a cop for the film version of Ken Bruen's "Blitz."

Paddy Considine will be playing Sergeant Porter Nash, an openly gay cop that works with the homophobic Brant.

The screenplay comes from Nathan Parker (Moon) with Elliott Lester (Love is a Drug) directing.
