Predators Director Confirmed By Rodriguez

Ain't it Cool News' Harry Knowles gave a ring to Robert Rodriguez to get confirmation on who's at the helm of Predators, 20th Century Fox's next film in the franchise. And it is Nimrod Antal, the man behind the upcoming action flick Armored and who last dabbled in the thriller genre with Vacancy. You'll recall Latino Review broke Antal's potential involvement here.

Rodriguez, who is shepherding the project, says the story involves "a very intense group of people stranded on a Predator planet discovering unspeakable horrors - that are not always from outside their group. So like the original movie, the title does have a double meaning. 'Aliens' was a different take on the Alien idea, and an original movie in it's own right, and that's what we want to do with this."

do you mean come back? like Rodriguez will make the predators come back!! or bring back? like Rodriguez will bring the Predators back? I'm confused... Guess people who say first are just bad at english..... hmm....maybe proof read instead of getting all excited about being first.

they should really try and make Dwayne Johnson the next big action star with this movie. He has such potential but its all going to waste.

There's something even scarier within the group of people than a Planet full of Predators???
come on, what the hell is that?
The writers for this movie better come up with something good or theyre gonna bring this franchise down.

Easy way to make this a winner is for the humans to be COLONIAL MARINES. More likely they'll be effeminate high school musical rejects though.

This is probably that concept they were thinking of using in a Predator movie before, where people or other creatures/aliens that have beaten predators are brought back to their planet to "participate" in a gladiator type battle against each other. If this is the case, I'm sure this concept serves as a basis with a few revisions.

Yeah, Cesar, because Danny Glover being the ultimate warrior on Earth, and two ****ty AvP movies hadn't already brought the series down enough. I'm pretty sure Rodriguez and this director can get the job done. Just as long as it's not Shia Lebouf taking on Predators-I'm pretty sure this movie will be bad ass.
