The Green Hornet Gets Pushed Two Weeks

Columbia Pictures has moved director Michel Gondry's comic book adaptation The Green Hornet back two weeks from June 25, 2010 to July 9, 2010. It was a move to make room for the studio's all-star comedy Grown Ups, which was moved from March 12 to June 25, 2010.

While no other film is scheduled for June 25th at this moment, Toy Story 3 is opening the week before and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse just five days later.

Opening the same week as "Hornet" are Robert Rodriguez's Predators and the animated Despicable Me.

When I Found Out About This News That

Sony announced the shuffling of two high-profile pictures today. Adam Sandler’s ensemble film, “Grown Ups,” moves from spring to summer, and is now set to debut June 25, 2010. Currently, it is the only film scheduled for release on that weekend.

That date was previously held by Sony’s “The Green Hornet,” which now bows July 9, 2010, and will open against Universal’s adult cartoon “Despicable Me,” and Fox’s latest franchise reset, “Predators.”

Seth Rogan is just a fat worthless deep voiced annoying actor. His comedy is weak, all he does is swear and say vulgar things over and over for every one of his films ... after his last peice of crap movie (the porno one) I have had it with him and refuse to watch anymore of his movies. Kinda like the first comment on this page said too ... hmmmmmm predators or this attrocity ... gezzz thats a hard one .....
