New Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel Trailer

MTV has debuted the new Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel trailer hitting theaters with Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Coming to theaters on Christmas Day, the Betty Thomas-directed Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel stars Jason Lee, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Anna Faris, Christina Applegate and Amy Poehler.

I love how the economy is garbage and we're all in a credit rut but they're making credits cards and marketing directly at the younger generation. The MTv credit card? Come on.

Has anybody seen the first one, getting back to the movie? Was it any good? Decent at least?

@Mike: Watch 'Lost in Translation' and 'May'. Its not her fault Hollywood likes typecasting people. Besides she makes more money from the commercial films.

dear god why, the first one was lacking, the person who decided this was a good idea should lie down on the floor have a shotgun forced into their mouth and woops the trigger finger slipped, this will stop hollywood cashing in such stupid franchises. leave it back in the early 90's where it belongs, and use your so called talent to come up with something origianl
