June 26, 2009

ShockTillYouDrop.com has posted the new one-sheet for Àlex and David Pastor's Carriers, starring Star Trek's Chris Pine, Lou Taylor Pucci, Piper Perabo and Emily VanCamp. In the horror-thriller, four friends fleeing a viral pandemic soon learn they are more dangerous than any virus.

Chris Pine and Emily Van Camp in the same film?! So there! Now for my male shallowness, I see it's PG-13 but we could at least show Emily in her underwear right? She's been showing more skin on Brothers & SIsters lately

pucci's in it? he's one of my favorites. nice to see him playing in something other than indie, not that it's bad for him to do so. i'll be there. he's a tremendous actor.

I hate pg-13 horror movies. I need to see my gore to be in a scary movie. All the great horror movies are R rated for a reason. Imagine a pg-13 Exorcist or Evil Dead or Saw. The very things that make them great are gone, so I ask why the hell bother. 9 times out of 10 you remember a horror flick for the violence and gore than the actual plot. Other than the occasional monster/killer jumping out and startling the audience all you get is limited to what they show on basic cable. Its rated pg-13 for the same reasons Bring it On is, sexual innuendos and language. Watch any Tartan Asian Extrmeme or any Takashii Miike and experience true balls to the wall horror.
