Will Daniel Craig Enter Dream House?

The Hollywood Reporter says that James Bond star Daniel Craig (Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale) is in early talks to star in Dream House, a psychological thriller set up at Morgan Creek to be directed by Jim Sheridan.

In the David Loucka script, Craig would play a man who moves his family to an idyllic small town, only to find his house haunted by its former inhabitants, who were murdered there.

Craig recently signed up for the Broadway drama "A Steady Rain."

Is this new 007 movie? Cos Daniel Craig can't act any other way. Take the 007 from him and he is a horrible actor....

Is this not like the same script as like a billion movies already made like: The Amityville Horror, The Haunting in Connecticut, or any number of films in the genre?

That was just the basic premise people. I'm sure there will be more to it than that. Just because there's been a lot of haunted house movies doesn't mean you can't make a good one anymore. For instance, "The Orphanage" is a recent great one. Jim Sheridan is a very talented director, and Daniel Craig is a pretty good actor; I think it's more important to focus on that right now.

Boll*cks...like it or not he is an actual actor, done stage work, won awards. Does mostly small independant films for which he reives high praise.

Or maybe your a Bourne fan ...;)

I wouldnt imagine most 15y/o fan-boys on here had seen Enduring Love or Slyvia though eh?

In terms of the film, sounds like generic thriller crap though...

I guess that if you mixed a generic plot with the quality of Daniel Craig, you're bound to get some great stuff. After all, it's been done before...Liam Neeson + Generic Action Plot = "Taken"
