Brody, Whitaker, Wood & Gigandet Take Part in Experiment

Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, Elijah Wood and Cam Gigandet will star in The Experiment, a remake of the German psychological thriller "Das Experiment" for Inferno Entertainment and Magnet Media Group, says Variety.

"Prison Break" creator Paul Scheuring is directing from his screenplay. Filming begins in Iowa next month.

Das Experiment, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, centered on a group of ordinary men recruited to take on the roles of guards and prisoners as part of a research study and examined how the effects of assigned roles, power and control affected the participants.

Brody will portray the de facto leader of the prisoners while Whitaker will play a guard who's corrupted by the power he's given.

Man Gigandet is getting a bit of work since Twilight sucked into theaters, which is good, I like him. Never Back Down was Awesome.

Isn't this "The Stamford Experiment" that Channing Tatum, and these actors were set to star in? Interesting idea, but it's not German!

This lineup can do it! I saw the original and it was FANTASTIC! It will make you question what is right and wrong! AND was this an experiment or real? The original was something I never seen before and something to this day I haven't forgotten.

cam gigandet hell yea i'm there. cam gigandet is really rolling out the movies and i love that he is an amazing actor and i cant wait to see more of him in his upcoming movies.

and the rest of the cast sounds great, been awhile since i seen wood, cant wait this sounds great.

Isn't that the same thing as "The Stanford Prison Experiment" that Tatum is rumoured to be in?

I think Tatum is overrated so hopefully he won't be in it.
