"Assault" Clip From Public Enemies Online

Yahoo! Movies has posted the first clip from Michael Mann's Public Enemies titled "Assault." Opening July 1st, the action-thriller is the story of legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger (Johnny Depp)—the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoover's fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public.

Loving the realistic feel of this, looks raw. For once, I'm not slating digital since Christian Bale and Johnny Depp are behind the lenses.

I laugh at this comments "he is using digital again". Bro, lot of people using digital nowdays u just don't notice it. Mann uses them with a slower shutter that is why a lot of people complaning.
I say his style is AWESOME and screw the haters!

My sentiments exactly. That was the very first thing I thought when the clip started. I hope every shoot out inthis movie isn't like this one. I could hardly tell what was going on. Didn't make me want to rush out & see this at all...
