Watch the Whiteout Convention Promo!

ShockTillYouDrop.com has posted the footage from Warner Bros. Pictures' Whiteout that was first shown at the 2007 Comic-Con. Directed by Dominic Sena, the graphic novel adaptation stars Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short, Alex O'Loughlin, Shawn Doyle and Tom Skerritt.

In the suspense thriller, opening September 11, Carrie Stetko (Beckinsale), the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, is investigating the continent's first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.

I'm sorry, but wasn't this film supposed to have been released somewhere around a year and a half ago ? Why do I get the feeling the Weinstiens bought this sucker and shelved it, like they always do.

this was delayed b/c of extensive post-production work that took a lot longer than anyone expected. for example, they had to computer generate most of the hot breath coming out of the characters' mouths. they wouldn't delay a genre film like this b/c of quality since it will make a good amt of money no matter what.

I can't wait to see the extremely talented ALEX O'LOUGHLIN on the big screen :) he'll definitely attract lots of girls to check out this movie.
