@ S on my chest: Fail.
Does anybody agree that Ultimate Thor is the best representation of the character? I hope I see that Thor instead of the winged-helmet with cape version.
@Holy S***! Did Jesus come Down Yet?: No, it will not be R-rated. Hopefully though, we can get a hard PG-13 like The Dark Knight, Iron Man, or Casino Royale.
Also, I love the Shakespearean point of view.
do you guys think this movie will contain violence and blood/gore (well not too much to over exaggerate)
but imagine a rated R Thor hah
that would be ****ing epic!
i would loooove to see that :D
Way too early to tell how this one's gonna go, I have a good feeling about it though :)
"I agree, the Ultimate's Thor version will be much better suited for the big screen and thesame goes for Capt America. It worked for Iron-Man."
No. No it didn't. The armor design was modeled after the Ultimate Version, but the characterization and backstory are almost straight from 616. Heck, Ultimate Iron Man's origin is nothing like the movie version's. Antonio Stark (not Anthony like in the movie) learns he has a terminal brain tumor and only a couple of months to live, he decides to become a crimefighter in order to make what time he has left as meaningful as possible.
What you should have said was "It worked for Nick Fury", at which point most of us would have nodded solemnly and said "Yes, yes it did." That being said, Marvel stayed pretty close to their roots for the Iron Man and Hulk movies and I'm guessing that's how they'll go with the rest of their films (Nick Fury aside).
