Girls Just Want to Have Fun Remake in the Works

Twentieth Century Fox and Lakeshore Entertainment are developing a remake of Girls Just Want to Have Fun, reports Variety.

The studio has hired Michelle Morgan to write a new version of the film, which centered on two girls who share a passion for dancing and the hit show "Dance TV."

The 1985 teen comedy starred Helen Hunt and Sarah Jessica Parker.

These remakes are getting out of hand. How about they greenlight a remake to 2009s Land of the Lost by September.

It won't be long now, but a Godfather remake will soon be annouced. Hollywood as turned into a joke. Creativity are been crushed by this useless studio execs. Spec scripts hardly see the light of day anymore.

I would love to be in the board room with the Movie studio execs when they all decided to green light this garbage and punch each otf them in the face one at a time as they leave the room.
I grew in the 80's and I dont even remember this crap movie. I wont be surprised if they get Britney Spears or lady CaCa to remake the original Cindy lawper song also for the soundtrack
