screened it last night, its great, considering this film has no reason to even exist it turned out to be a great summer movie. the action is great, the acting is surprisingly good, especially sam worthington who just blew me away. solid three stars, and i know others will probably disagree, but its on par with t2, it gives you a fresh new feel, while honoring the original films. you would be wrong to pass this by.

Really felt that this is a great step in the right direction. I hope there is an extended cut of the film. It seemed like they cut a few things to make it a lesser running time to appease the majority of crowds and how they hate long films. wimps. It was such a better film than the third and feels like they really respected the first two well.

Just got back from my local midnight showing and I did not walk away dissapointed. Regardless of the fact that Bale is my favorite actor and the Terminator franchise has always been one of my favorites, this film DID NOT DISSAPOINT on any level of a normal summer blockbuster.

Everything from the action to the characters (especially Kyle Reese) was done perfectly in my opinion. It has the feeling of a realistic world years after Judgement day in an apocalyptic world, I really got the feeling I was there, it was dark, bleak and gritty the way I was hoping for.

Bale was top notch for what he was given with the script and portrayed John Conner the way I was hoping he would, no complaints on that front. Also Worthington was perfect for what he had to do, couldnt complain a bit.

The references to the older films were done in a manner that only hardcore fans will notice but they make the film better and maybe open up the fanbase to newer viewers that arent nececarrily Terminator fans.

I cannot wait to see it again!

Yeah this film was great some cool things happened that I thought were reminiscent to T2 and T1. This film had everything that you would expect in a saga it felt like it was just the beginning so I hope to see the trilogy made a reality and see the end of the war I want this story finished up and if they keep going in this direction I don't think anyone will be disappointed. Great film go see it.
