Zach Braff ("Scrubs," Garden State) is in negotiations to direct, rewrite and co-star in the comedy Swingles for Paramount Pictures, reports Variety.

Cameron Diaz has already signed on to star.

The story, which is based on a Duncan Birmingham spec script, centers on a bachelor who is dumped by his wingman and teams up with a sharp-tongued woman he can't stand in order to meet singles. Jeff Roda wrote a draft as well.

Cool. Love Zach Braff hope he moves away from his scrub character and trys a different role. Just wonder if it will be good.

Braff is a brilliant actor

check out The Last Kiss, very good film

i think he is a little type cast because of Scrubs but hopefully this will branch him out a bit more

i think he should play The Riddler in the next Batman movir or else give the part to Guy Pearce

I like Braff but The Riddler? Now way, then again I hope they don't use The Riddler and choose another villain altogether.

Zach Braff was awesome on scrubs, unfortunately I think his quick success went to his head a little bit. The movie he made with Jason Bateman, I can't remember the name of it, wasn't very good and it just felt like he put alot of stock in that film, as it was around the same time he started talking about leaving Scrubs.

Scrubs is not 'officially over' as it will be back next season.

And I also liked The Last Kiss, but then, Rachel Bilson is a goddess.

DarrenSuds, you're thinking of the Ex which he did with Bateman and Amanda Peet. And you're right i was disappointed in that movie.
