If they don't have slackers lounging around complaining, big explosions and maybe some hot women, I just see no purpose in this film at all.

Jim's performance in this movie I believe will go down in history as the most dynamic of his career!!!

You know, I never thought about the connection to Count Olaf until someone mentioned it and I can see the correlation. However, I still look forward to seeing his performance.

I have long been a fan of his and Andy Kaufman partly because I share a birthday with them. Jim Carrey is capable of so much more of an actor than most would give him credit for and I especially loved his portrayals in "The Majestic" and other serious roles (Number 23, Eternal Sunshine...). He just needs to be given more opportunities to show his real talent. I have always thought he should star in a remake of "Harvey" originally starring Jimmy Stewart.

Sweet. I keep looking more and more forward to this movie. This and "The Princess and the Frog" are gonna be incredible holiday gifts.
