Guitar Hero to Become Reality TV Show?

Activision Blizzard's popular video game "Guitar Hero" could become a reality TV show and/or a real-life concert tour, says The Hollywood Reporter. Activision is also looking to turn the "World of Warcraft" and "Call of Duty" games into movies.

About the "Guitar Hero" franchise, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick said, "It might make for a good TV show or a good concert tour."

"Guitar Hero" and "Call of Duty" in the first quarter were two of the Top 5 best-selling franchises across all video game platforms in Europe and the U.S. "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King" was the top PC game, in terms of revenue, in the U.S.

A Warcraft movie has been in development at Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures for some time.

NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE TURNED IN TO MOVIES !!!!!!!!!! FANS AND AUDIENCES WANT ORIGINAL IDEAS FOR FILMS, NOT CRAPPY ADAPTATIONS!!!!! jim cameron is doing a great job with AVATAR, that's my ONLY MUST-SEE movie of the year because it's an Original idea, which is refreshing.

They already made a show on Guitar Hero. And that was in South Park! That's all there needs to be :P

But anyway screw all that other stuff, bring on Starcraft 2!

Yes...go the Guitar hero movie, get Jack Black in it.

Thats all i really got, but now that i think about it, dont make a guitar hero movie.

Or have michael bay do it, and let it be a 2 hour epic of guitars blowing up in slow motion
