Warner Bros. Pictures has provided us with new photos from Sherlock Holmes, opening in theaters on Christmas Day.

In this dynamic new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous characters, the Guy Ritchie-directed film sends Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson on their latest challenge. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, Holmes will battle as never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

This movie could be good, the villian sounds interesting, but I hope one day we can see a real Sherlock Holmes movie.

I just hope that Sherlock doesn't have a mockerney London accent. Last time a Hollywood actor attempted that was Johnny Depp in From Hell and that ruined it for me.

A fedora instead of a deerstalker cap for Holmes? I dunno about that one . . .

Otherwise, I have big hopes for this movie to do well at the box office. :-)

Downey Jr. can just about do what he wants and pull a massive crowd along with him at this current point in time...Isn't whats his face in this...Alfie? Jude Law? Whatever...gah I had high expectations for this kid when he came on the scene...now he just destroys movies he touches. Nice job, thats karma for sleeping with the maid while your supposed to be sleeping with Sienna Miller you moron!
