One Kick-Ass Hit Girl

Empire magazine has published an official photo of Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl/Mindy Macready in director Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass, based on Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s comic book.

The story centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons.

Aaron Johnson plays title character, while Lyndsy Fonseca plays the object of the teen's infatuation who believes Dave is gay. Cage is a former cop who wants to bring down a druglord and has trained his daughter (Moretz) to be a lethal weapon.

why would conservatives have any problem with this? cuz of ASS? we do say ass. big deal. don't politicize every little thing.

my problem with this is that the title is Kick-Ass, yet the plot sounds like something for eight year olds. and how old is that girl? 13?

I don't like the outfit. In the comics she doesn't dress like a Japanese school girl, at least not in any of the comics released as of yet. And why doesn't she have Katanas? I'm confused, why isn't she dressed like a super-hero?? I was excited when I heard they kept her young for the film, but now she seems like a sex symbol and she isn't a sex symbol in the comics. She's a vulgar, brutal little girl who is Kick-Ass with Katanas.

Sherwood: The plot may sound like something for eight year olds, but it's actually extremely violent. Checked out the comic when i saw this was being made.
