Too bad the best thing about this movie was Eva Mendes' bare ass.

Ok,am I really the only one that thought this movie was a lot of fun? I was familiar with the original comic but never read the series and so was never a huge fan. I don't know what the series was like but I gotta tell you, this movie really had me cracking up the whole time! The movie was stylish, funny, and fast paced. The acting was nothing special but I've seen much worse. I just really enjoyed the fact that it didn't take itself to seriously. Plus, the women were absolutely beautiful (which is generally enough for me anyway! Oh, and I totally agree that Eva's ass and side boob were fantastic, of course:) Maybe the problem is that I had no expectations going into this movie. The SD Comic Con panel last year wasn't great, and really the only actor in the movie that seemed excited about it was Sam Jackson. I know that these panels can be the death of a movie, so is that what happened? There were so many people that thought they would hate it that this opinion became popular? Again, I was never a fan, so I apologize for my ignorance of the comic. Was it not supposed to be funny? Did I misinterpret what Frank Miller was trying to accomplish? Hoping someone out there can give me a little insight as to why I'm the outsider here:) Thanks!

@Rush.. yes, you're the only one that thought this movie was any good.

I said it in forums a hundred times. The bad performance of "The Spirit" was going to have an impact on the performance of "Watchmen." While the blue dingly-ling, long story, and bad acting certainly contributed, I'd like to think my prediction was true.

The movie BOMBED big time and I have feeling it effected Sin City 2 from happening in some capasity. Frank Miller should go back to making graphic novels, he has some grounds to make up in that too because his last series Batman and Robin All stars was sooooo bad, just a big letdown.

This was worse than Doomsday I was so dissapointed it's obvious Miller is lost without Rodriguez at the helm.
